Let this be clear: Without treatment, any kid with Down Syndrome nearly always has mental retardation, ill health, poor abilities and a very short life span. However, we can alleviate many Down Syndrome symptoms through good treatment and intervention. In case you are new to the internet, sometimes having a kid with Down Syndrome spurs you on into the unknown internet to try finding answers, for you I would point out that writing which is underlined, normally are clickable links that will take you to our webpages that provides information on that topic!!!
